Zue Rewolution, a czech countrygirl, is playing the guitar and is one half of the bands vocals. Though she is also playing in a rockband (The Struggs) and had a couple of rock projects before, her passion for music found through the voice of Johnny Cash lead her to the countryside of music and the roots of Rock’n’ Roll - Zue realized this passion with a band - Sunday Revolution.
Nagaina Knocks AKA Aina N. Nilsen, a countrygirl from Norway and the second half of the bands vocals, is playing guitar, washboard and mouth harp. She had her first band projects in the age of twelve and since then she is being busy in various blues, irish folk and punk rock projects - one of the projects turned into Sunday Revolution.
Sunday Revolution started to make music together in January 2003. Since their first official appearance in May 2003, the two girls had already over a hundred gigs in Germany and Norway. The locations and occasions the girls appeared reach from little pubs and street parties over weddings and birthdays to small festivals and organized gigs.
Sunday Revolution is harmony singing in two voices accompanied by two guitars, mouth harp, an extraordinary pleasure to play, - and a washboard.
The repertoary changes from country and rock'n'roll to ballads and acoustic punkrock, always with a sharp look on Johnny Cash and like-minded musicians...
Performing own songs is an important task of the girls, but a good cover version is a good cover version, and so the girls are not afraid to edit songs and transform them into a real Sunday Revolution sound.
Sunday Revolution has no booking agency and works on its own.
Steady locations within Norway and Germany make future appearances being guaranteed.
Sunday Revolution sees it as duty and delight to bring music to other people.
